Spotify, Discord, and Snapchat fell down on Tuesday afternoon due to a Google Cloud outage, preventing many users from accessing those applications.
All of those applications utilize Google Cloud as a cloud computing provider, which means that anytime you use one of those apps, your device connects to a Google server.
Customers may see 404 errors while visiting online sites due to a problem with cloud networking, according to Google.

On Tuesday afternoon, Spotify commented on Twitter: "We are aware of certain difficulties and are investigating them! We'll keep you up to date."
Snapchat tweeted on Twitter about their support: "Many Snapchat users are experiencing difficulty utilizing the app. Hold on, we're working on a solution. In the meanwhile, we urge that you remain logged in."
According to statistics from Downdetector, a real-time problem and outage tracking service, hundreds of thousands of users reported troubles on these sites.
The reports peaked around 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday and started to decline at 2 p.m. same day.
However, Google claims that the problem has only been partly rectified and that they are still working on a solution. By 11:28 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, Google will issue an official update.
